The 'Alejandro' singer was transformed into graphic form for an unauthorised biography which was published in June. Meanwhile, 16-year-old Bieber is the subject of the next comic which is due to be released in October.
According to OK, attorney Kenneth Feinswog has served Bluewater Productions with a 'cease and desist' letter, which threatens further legal action if the books are not withdrawn.
However, publisher Darran G. Davis has argued that graphic artists are within their rights to base comic strips on celebrity lives.
He said: "We are 100% within our first amendment rights. We knew our rights on this before we jumped into the biography world. These are 100% biographies on their lives.
"We reach out to all the celebrities and some choose to work with us and some do not. If they do choose to work with us, we donate ads and money to a non-profit [organisation] of their choice. We offered the same deal to Bieber's people."
Other celebrities that have been recreated by Bluewater include Taylor Swift and David Beckham.
