Rivers Cuomo has decided to continue with a vow of celibacy he took over two and a half years ago.
The Weezer frontman told Blender magazine: "The vow is over, but I wanted to keep cruising."
"Abstinence doesn't require as much self-discipline anymore," he explained. "[Weezer] never had any serious groupies, anyway. Our generation got screwed."
Weezer released fifth album Make Believe earlier this year. Cuomo is currently one semester away from completing a degree in English literature at Harvard University.
