Mike Tyson and wife expecting baby

Mike Tyson and his wife have announced that they are expecting a child.

Radar Online reports that the boxer's wife Lakiha Spicer is five months pregnant with a baby boy.

This will be the couple's second child together. Tyson has six children from previous relationships.

The birth announcement comes a year after the athlete's 4-year-old daughter Exodus died after accidentally becoming entangled in a treadmill chord.

Earlier this year, Tyson told the hosts of The View that even though he has very little money, he is thankful to have a loving family.

"I'm totally destitute and broke. But I have an awesome life," he said. "I have an awesome wife who cares about me. I'm very grateful."

The former boxing champion continued: "I don't deserve to have the wife that I have. I don't deserve the kids that I have, but I do, and I'm very grateful."
