Clifford: 'Coleen could be WAG pundit'

PR guru Max Clifford has said that Coleen Rooney could have a lucrative career as a media commentator if she were to split from husband Wayne.

The couple's future is uncertain after allegations emerged that England and Manchester United star Wayne had cheated with a £1,200-a-night prostitute while his wife was pregnant with their son Kai.

Clifford told Metro: "Coleen could earn millions – easily £10 million in the next five years – if she plays her cards right.

"With all her experience as a WAG – because she really is at the heart of it – she could be some sort of expert on that side of things, giving advice because she's been through it."

The publicist, whose clients have included Kerry Katona, Rebecca Loos, Shilpa Shetty and Jade Goody, suggested that the 24-year-old should rebrand herself within the next six months in order to capitalise on public sympathy.

He added that her strong public persona will benefit any future work, saying: "'She comes across as a very nice, sensible girl and the public already like her."
