Pratt 'sorry for outrageous behaviour'

Spencer Pratt has apologised for his "outrageous" behaviour towards Heidi Montag.

The former Hills star split from Montag earlier this year and recently threatened to sell a sex tape she made with a Playboy playmate if she did not agree to come back to him.

In an email to The AP, he admitted that he felt the need to "lash out" after the break-up as he could not accept the demise of his marriage.

He then apologised for making "certain private issues public" and "horribly embarrassing the one person who meant the world to [him]".

Pratt went on to say that he would try to accept his upcoming divorce and promised to work on his issues.
