The Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston split has been rated the most fascinating break-up of 2005 in a new survey by USA Today.

Although the couple divorced in October, Pitt and Aniston continue to make front-page headlines with their off-screen antics. Other couples to make the list include recently separated Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson, as well as the loss of friendship between Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.
