Britney Spears: 'Lawsuit will be dismissed'
Published Thursday, Sep 9 2010, 16:29 BST | By Justin Harp

The singer posted an official statement on her website responding to a recent suit filed by former bodyguard Fernando Flores which claims that Spears exposed her nude body to him on several occasions and abused her children in his presence.
"This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself," said the statement.
"The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr Flores'[s] accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts."
A hearing for the case is scheduled for January, according to The AP.
It was previously reported that Spears's ex-husband Kevin Federline also denied the accusations made about the 'Toxic' musician in Flores's legal filings.
