Courtney Love, wife of late Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain, is to auction a home bought for her in-laws.
Cobain's sister, Kim, is listed as the resident of the historic home, which is located around 10 miles south of Olympia, Washington and was purchased for her in 1997.
The singer reportedly stopped making mortage payments in December 2003 and now will have to either pay the outstanding mortgage in full or the home will be auctioned to the highest bidder.
Love reportedly owes more than $367,000 in mortage payments alone, and her financial woes may drive the Hole artist to sell her royalty rights to Cobain and Nirvana's song catalogue.
At present, Love is serving out the remainder of a 180-day drug rehab sentence for violating her probation on two misdemeanor drug charges and a misdemeanor assault charge.
