Matt Smith is reportedly planning to propose to his girlfriend Daisy Lowe.

According to the News of the World, the Doctor Who star has told friends that he is ready to permanently commit to the model, who has previously dated Mark Ronson.

A source said: "They've discussed their future and want to get married within a year."

The actor apparently told friends: "Daisy's amazing in every way."

The couple are said to be planning their schedules around Smith's filming commitments.
