Gary Glitter may go to trial on child molestation charges next month in Vietnam.

The 61-year-old was arrested for sleeping with a twelve-year-old girl in his bed, and although the charges of rape have been dropped, he will reportedly still face trial for "engaging in perverse activities with children".

Le Thanh Kinh, Glitter's lawyer has said that the glam-rocker's trial is set to appear before court late next month or early February.
