Britney Spears denies engagement claims

Britney Spears has denied a recent report that she got engaged to boyfriend Jason Trawick on vacation.

It had been suggested that the 'Womanizer' star had accepted a proposal from former agent Trawick while the pair holidayed together in Hawaii last month.

However, the rumoured engagement story has since been posted on Spears's official website with the words "BS Alert" stamped across it.

A source close to the couple added to People: "They're really taking things day by day and really enjoying their time."

Spears - who has two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline - began dating Hollywood agent Trawick last year. He reportedly stepped down from his professional position with the singer in May in order to concentrate on their personal relationship.
