The JLS singer, who currently lives with bandmate Marvin Humes, told the News of the World that he had encountered a ghost in the house and no longer wants to stay there.
He said: "Our place is genuinely haunted. No joke. I've seen a ghost come into my room and stand over my bed. It was this big shadow. I'd just woken up.
"At first I thought it was Marvin standing in my doorway but he told me it definitely wasn't."
Humes also told the newspaper that Girls Aloud had experienced a similar phenomenon when they lived in the same complex. "It used to be a mental institute so it's got a past," he explained.
