Church: 'Gavin will always be kids' dad'

Charlotte Church has reportedly insisted that her ex-fiancé Gavin Henson will always be the father of her two children.

Henson apparently said in an interview that he is finding it difficult knowing that another man might be raising his kids. However, the singer revealed to Newsbeat that the rugby player will remain the most important male figure in their kids' lives.

Church said: "If I had, or if I should in the near future, start a new relationship, then I shall be very, very careful that Gavin will always remain their father and that my kids come first and that's how I work.

"We're both expected to say a lot of things publicly and at the end of the day he hasn't got anything bad to say about me and I don't have anything bad to say about him."

The musician added that the pair are concentrating on being a "family unit".

She explained: "We've both got two beautiful children together, we're just trying to keep it together as a family unit, but of course people ask probing questions."
