Cooper denies cheating on girlfriend

Quade Cooper has denied cheating on his girlfriend with Stephanie Rice, according to reports.

The 22-year-old Australian footballer, who was first romantically linked to Rice last month, has allegedly slammed reports that he started seeing the swimmer before he had finished with Elle McLeod.

A friend of McLeod told Woman's Day magazine: "[Quade and Elle have] only been broken up a couple of weeks. She's been trying not to read about him and Stephanie, and Quade's sister has even told her it's not true.

"Elle really does trust him. She wants to believe him. But now she keeps reading of his relationship with Stephanie. His teammates' girlfriends have called [Elle] and said that he didn't cheat. That's why she wants to believe him, but she's devastated that this has all come out."
