Mel B 'ends daughter's date'

Mel B ended her daughter Phoenix Chi's first date when she thought the pair were getting too "touchy-feely".

The former Spice Girl accompanied her 11-year-old daughter on the outing to a Los Angeles bowling alley along with her husband Stephen Belafonte but had to 'step in' when she and date John were getting too close.

Speaking on her US reality series Mel B: It's a Scary World, she said: "Phoenix and John were getting a little touchy-feely. I was thinking this is looking like a real date.

"She's 11 years old, she's not a woman. I'm stepping in, it's time for me to end the date. They were holding hands and standing a bit close."

Belafonte then tried to convince Mel that her daughter and the boy were just trying to enjoy themselves.
