Sheen and Richards step up divorce

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards have brought forward the date of their divorce to March 2006.

The couple initially decided to end their marriage over a year ago, and the date of the actual divorce was set for January 2007. However, after papers filed earlier this week, the separation will come much sooner than expected - in March this year.

The pair attempted reconciliation late last year, taking a holiday in Barbados, but it was unsuccessful and the divorce is now back on. Both parties are keen to keep their affairs away from the glare of the press and are using a private arbitrator.
