Mo'Nique: 'Don't criticise Lindsay Lohan'

Mo'Nique has slammed recent media criticism of Lindsay Lohan for violating her parole.

The Oscar winner told Access Hollywood that people who attack Lohan for failing a recent drug test should consider what their own actions would be if their daughter was in similar trouble.

"Stop judging her," she said. "That baby simply needs some help and if it was your baby, would you want to turn on the TV every night and hear people's horrible opinions and they don't know what’s really happening?"

The star continued: "So the advice is for us. Stop judging that baby."

Mo'Nique also insisted that Lohan's family should not be held responsible for the Machete star's alleged struggle with drugs.

"Let's stop judging that family because we don’t know what's really going on," she said.

"Mind your business and let them mind theirs and maybe everybody will come out okay."
