McLoughlin to take elocution lessons

Coleen McLoughlin is planning on taking elocution lessons as part of her goal to launch an acting career.

Wayne Rooney's fiance hopes that she will be offered television and film roles after softening her Liverpool accent.

"Coleen is deadly serious about acting and will do whatever is needed to make a success of it," a source told The People. "She doesn't want to be seen as a footballers' wife who just goes shopping with Wayne's cash."

A spokeswoman confirmed, "It is something she will definitely be looking at."
