Mel Gibson's ex 'accused Dalton of abuse'

Mel Gibson's ex-girlfriend allegedly also accused her former partner Timothy Dalton of abuse, it has been reported.

TMZ reports that Grigorieva, who has accused Gibson of abuse and extortion during their relationship, further made claims that former James Bond actor Dalton was physically abusive towards her.

A law enforcement source alleges that the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has documentary evidence of emails between Grigorieva and Gibson in which she makes allegations about Dalton's "rages".

However, no action was ever taken against the star, and Grigorieva apparently did not contact the police about her concerns.

After being approached for comment, Grigorieva's lawyer Daniel Horowitz said in a statement: "Dalton said that he spoke with Oksana and they both agreed that anyone claiming there was abusiveness in the relationship is a liar and it is a complete fabrication."

The lawyer added that Dalton said he was "still friends [with Grigorieva] to this day".

Horowitz continued: "This is an attack on Oksana and Tim's son, because this is going to hurt him by false allegations that his father is a loser the way Mel Gibson is a loser. Tim Dalton is not Mel Gibson. He's a fine human being."

Grigorieva added: "Tim is a wonderful father. We have a great relationship. Any implication that he ever struck me is untrue.

"This is just another vicious attack on my family."
