Jim Carrey has slammed Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson for using private stories to get attention.
The media can talk about him, says the Mask star, but he will not talk about his private life himself.
The Evening Echo quoted the actor as saying: "I think people feel desperate to be noticed sometimes.
"It can lead you to give too much away. I'm just not going to do that," he continued. "My love life will never be for sale. People can speculate all they want, but it will never be up on the auction block.
"It will never be used to promote myself."
