Usher still "disappointed" with mother

Usher has said that he is still "very disappointed" at his mother's decision not to attend his 2007 wedding.

The RNB star married former stylist Tameka Foster in August 2007, and they went on to have two sons together. Usher's mother Jonetta Patton, who formerly managed his career, refused to attend the wedding three years ago.

Speaking to Vibe magazine, Usher said that he was still upset with Patton's decision, despite having reconciled with her since.

"Parents should be able to have unconditional love for their children and their decisions, regardless of how they feel," Usher said.

He added: "[I] wouldn't do that to my child."

Usher and Foster divorced last year.
