Betty White: 'You're never too old for sex'

Betty White has reportedly declared that sexual desire does not fade with age.

The 88-year-old star spoke to AARP Magazine along with her You Again co-stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Kristen Bell, admitting that she still feels sexual desire.

"Does desire melt away with age? I'm waiting for that day to come," White said. "Sexual desire is like ageing," she continued, pointing at her head. "A lot of it is up here."

White, who has wed three times, described her first marriage as purely physical.

"I married my first husband because we wanted to sleep together," she said. "It lasted six months and we were in bed for six months."

After an unfortunate second marriage, White met her soulmate, gameshow host Allen Ludden, with whom she shared a happy marriage until his death in 1981.

"The secret to our marriage was enthusiasm," White added. "When I knew Allen was coming home, I would freshen my make-up and put on a new blouse."

At present, White is single. "I don't have a fella," she admitted. "But if Robert Redford were around, we'd have a very active sex life."
