According to TMZ, detectives closed the case after receiving a Utah autopsy report which ruled the death "an accident".
"[Gary] was an accident waiting to happen. The last time I saw him he literally looked gray," said a rep for the Santaquin Police.
The Diff'rent Strokes actor died on May 28 after suffering a brain haemorrhage following a fall in his Utah home.
