Mauboy excited for "fun" Nick Awards

Jessica Mauboy has revealed that she is looking forward to hosting the Australian Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards tonight.

The 21-year-old Aussie singer, who is also nominated for the Fave Aussie Muso award at the event, said that she always has "fun" witnessing how much "joy" the show brings to children.

Mauboy told AAP: "Nickelodeon is always fun and there is always unexpected things happening and to see the joy in the kids, they just go nuts."

Mauboy, who recently worked with Snoop Dogg, said of the rapper: "I was pretty much just sitting back and observing him the whole time. He's really intelligent and he's a real businessman."
