According to Radar Online, the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star picked up Mady and Cara from school yesterday and took them to dinner to mark the occasion.
The website reports that he later tweeted: "I asked them what they wanted to do for their birthday and they said the mall and Olive Garden. So that's what we did!"
The father-of-eight celebrated the twins' birthday with ex-wife Kate at home in Pennsylvania last year, telling Us Weekly that the former couple had decided to "keep it cordial" for their children. He reportedly gifted Mady with a laptop and Cara with an ATV.
Kate was recently photographed picking up party supplies at a store near her home, although it has not been revealed how she will celebrate the occasion.
