Ed Westwick 'reveals romantic side'

Ed Westwick has declared his love for spending quality time at home with girlfriend Jessica Szohr.

The Gossip Girl actor, who has endured a somewhat turbulent relationship with Szohr, told Bang Showbiz about the simple but meaningful moments he spends with his lover and co-star.

He said: "The best thing about relationships? Cuddling on the couch and eating food in bed, Crumbs can come into the bed too, they're fine."

However, Westwick added that he is still happy making grand romantic gestures for somebody particularly special.

"It sounds so cliched but I scattered rose petals around a hotel room and ordered in some very, very expensive champagne.

"It's just that feeling and it's so hard to describe. It's when you give a f**k. You care what they think and how we feel. And then when you're not looking at anyone else, that's when you know she's the one."

Speculation over the status of the couple has intensified recently, after Westwick described his relationship with Szohr as "complicated" and suggested that he is too busy for a romance.
