Jackman, Kidman star in World Cup film?

Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman could star in a new film as part of Australia's bid to host the 2018 and 2022 football World Cup.

Football chief Frank Lowy, who is also one of Australia's richest men, has approached the movie stars to help him make a 30-minute video showcasing the best that the country has to offer.

According to the Herald Sun, the movie is already being shot at places such as Bondi Beach and will be shown to FIFA's executive committee later this year.

Former swimmer Ian Thorpe has already agreed to take part in the promotional video and was spotted dressed as a lifeguard for filming yesterday, while producers are believed to be in negotiations with Kidman and Jackman to play new roles.
