Gavin Rossdale 'avoids changing diapers'

Gavin Rossdale has admitted that he hates changing the diapers of his 2-year-old son Zuma Nesta Rock.

The Bush frontman - who is also parent to 4-year-old Kingston James McGregor with wife Gwen Stefani - revealed that he often tries to avoid the task by pretending to be distracted by his mobile phone.

"We have good people around us. If there's no-one there, I can do it, but otherwise I sort of slide away. I get very interested in my BlackBerry at that point," he explained to Details.

"A friend once told me, 'By the way, they never thank you for changing their diapers when they grow up, so don’t sweat it'. I thought it was good advice."

Rossdale went on to say that he feels the pressures of celebrity more since becoming a father.

"I'll want to take my kid to the beach, and there’s six grown men chasing us," he explained.

"He's running around in his underwear as every child should, and I have to go up to them and say, 'Can you not photograph my son running around in his underwear?' The pictures show up anyway.”

Stefani recently confessed that she would like to have a third child with Rossdale in the near future.
