Danny Dyer: "I don't take drugs now"

Danny Dyer has said that he no longer takes drugs, following controversy regarding comments made in his new autobiography.

Last week, it was reported that Dyer says in his upcoming book that he has "always taken drugs" and "probably always will".

However, speaking on Loose Women, Dyer said: "[The book] is not about drugs, really.

"That was a part of my life and you have to speak about them."

He added: "[Drugs] destroy lives, I know that. And I nearly ruined my career, my family, everything. I don't take drugs now."
