Demi Lovato jokes about unflattering photos

Demi Lovato has reportedly laughed off unflattering photographs of herself on the internet.

The Sonny With A Chance star took to her Twitter account yesterday to joke that some websites seem to "deliberately" choose the worst pictures to accompany posts.

"I love how some gossip sites deliberately post pictures with disgusting angles of me," she wrote. "Hahaha thanks guys... Thaaanks. Ps. I hate you. (sic)"

The 18-year-old recently co-hosted the American Music Awards nominations announcement alongside Taio Cruz in Los Angeles and also posted pictures on her account from the event, including a photo of her standing next to 'N Sync’s Lance Bass.

"I used to have your posters on my wall..." so embarrassed that I ACTUALLY said that out loud, (sic)" she wrote. "But I mean come on, what else do you say to Lance Bass?! :P"

Lovato - who is working on a new album - is currently on tour with her Camp Rock co-stars the Jonas Brothers and is scheduled to play a string of dates across Mexico and South America from next week.
