Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher willingly gives out fashion and beauty advice to fellow mums when she picks up her daughter from school.

"Although she turns up looking far from glam, everyone knows who Teri is and how famous she is," a source told the Daily Star.

"But she's so approachable. She often helps the other mums with beauty or fashion tips if they ask and has even been known to bring a few products along from the Housewives' dressing room to hand out. She's very sociable despite being a megastar."
