Aguilera denies domestic violence rumours

Christina Aguilera has dismissed accounts that she suffered domestic violence during her marriage, which ended earlier this month.

New photos of the singer have emerged which show her with a cut lip and it is thought she underwent a short hospital stay days before her separation from husband Jordan Bratman.

However, Aguilera's representatives have told TMZ that the stories are false.

The couple had been married for five years, but filed for divorce on October 14.
