Lohan mum 'shocked' by judge's decision

Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina was reportedly shocked that the star was not ordered back to prison earlier today.

According to sources close to Dina, she expected Judge Elden Fox to sentence Lindsay to more jail time during her court appearance in LA, reports TMZ.

Lindsay was instead ordered back to rehab until January 3, 2011.

The actress voluntarily entered a rehab centre after serving a short stint in jail earlier this year due to a probation violation stemming from a 2007 charge.

Lindsay reportedly told her probation officer that a longer stint in rehab could hurt her career, according to probation department documents.

"The defendant says her clothing line is falling apart because she is not available to monitor the product," read the documents.
