Randy Quaid and wife arrested in Canada

Randy Quaid and his wife Evi have been arrested by police in Canada, The Vancouver Sun reports.

Members of Vancouver police acted on several outstanding warrants issued in the US after the couple called emergency services for assistance on Wednesday.

Soon after their call to police, they were identified as Randy and Evi Quaid and the local authorities promptly turned them over to the Canada Border Services Agency.

The arrest warrants were issued after the National Lampoon star and his wife reportedly failed to appear at a California court for squatting in a house that they previously owned.
