'No legal action' over Hatton 'drug' tape

Ricky Hatton has escaped legal action for his alleged drug use, after doubts emerged over footage apparently showing him taking cocaine.

According to The Sun, the boxer failed to recall whether a white powder he was filmed snorting back in September had actually been the class A drug.

Additional police investigations have also found no evidence confirming the presence of illegal substances in the footage.

Hatton admitted himself into the Priory rehab clinic in the wake of the scandal, seeking support for alcohol problems and depression.
