Edmondson 'struggled with Saunders cancer'

The comedian spoke to the Daily Mail about the issues surrounding caring for a loved one battling the illness.
Saunders was diagnosed with breast cancer last October but did not make the news public until June when she was told by doctors that it had passed.
Edmondson said: "The chemotherapy knocks you out and that's just brutal. You're hooked up to drips and things for three or four hours once a week. It's just grinding. It's horrible.
"The hardest thing was, there's nothing I could do to take it away. It wasn't remotely funny - there isn't even any black humour in the situation."
