More than a half a million online votes were tallied to list the Top 49 most influential men of the year, according to the site.
Bill Gates was number 2 on the list, with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Apple head Steve Jobs and rapper Kanye West rounding out the top five.
US President Barack Obama came in at number 21, behind celebrities such as George Clooney (18), Jay-Z (13), Conan O'Brien (12) and James Franco (7).
Eminen (24), Ben Affleck (25) and Justin Timberlake (33) also made the list.
