Padma Lakshmi 'climbs stairs before gym'

Padma Lakshmi has revealed that she worked hard to regain her pre-baby figure.

The Top Chef host - who gave birth to daughter Krisha earlier this year - said that she had to exercise several hours a day in order to lose weight at a satisfactory pace.

"I woke up at 6am, I nursed. Then I ran up and down 70 flights of stairs," she explained.

"Then I had breakfast, then went to the gym and lifted weights for an hour. Then I walked home."

Lakshmi went on to say that she is happy to watch her daughter grow.

"She's great. She's crawling!" she revealed.
