Rachel Dratch 'reveals father of child'

Rachel Dratch has revealed the name of the father of her child.

The former Saturday Night Live star gave birth to son Erin in August but did not disclose the name of the man with whom she had conceived the baby.

She has since told People that she did so in order to protect the man's privacy.

"People are expecting the craziest story. I just meant it's crazy for me!" she told People.

She went on to announce boyfriend John Wahl, a California natural foods consultant, as Erin's father.

"I had bought into all this stuff about, 'Once you're over 40 [it might not happen]'. I'd gone through the whole process of letting go of [the idea of having kids]," she explained about the surprise of discovering her pregnancy.

Wahl has since moved to New York to help raise the baby and said that he will focus on "surrounding Erin with love".
