The X Factor group had been criticised by fellow boyband Westlife and singer Shane Filan suggested that the JLS had been "paid loads of money" for the endorsement.
In a letter to Metro, Brook's Jules Hillier said: "What a shame that Westlife are so grouchy about JLS releasing their own brand of condoms, with Mark Feehily saying 'what the f**k are they doing?'.
"When JLS visited Brook's offices and talked to young people and staff about the importance of sexual health, their commitment to young people's welfare was obvious. The fact all proceeds will go to the newly-created JLS Foundation, and not to the boys, shows they are not 'cashing in' at all."
She continued: "The boys also supported a new campaign created by your young volunteers to promote self-confidence.
"One of the young volunteers who created the campaign said, 'For a band to be so well known, with such a big fan base, makes it really a bit deal for them to immerse themselves into an area most celebrities would shy away from."
