Capshaw and husband Christopher Gavin are already parents to a 3-year-old son named Luke.
"The family is thrilled to welcome their newest addition," a representative for the couple told People, announcing the birth.
The couple's daughter was born on October 20 and has been named Eve Augusta.
The actress is best known for her season regular role as Dr Arizona Robbins on the ABC medical drama.
Capshaw is also known for being the stepchild of Hollywood director Steven Spielberg with Indiana Jones actress Kate Capshaw.
