Carly Zucker recalls 'frightening' car theft

Carly Zucker has revealed that she was left in shock after masked thieves pulled her out of her car and made off with the vehicle.

Zucker was sitting in her black Audi A4 outside her and husband Joe Cole's Chelsea home on a Sunday morning in August when the gang of criminals hauled her from the driving seat and drove off in the car.

She told Hello that the incident was "frightening" but that it could have been much worse.

Zucker said: "I just kept telling myself that I'd been lucky because [7-month-old daughter] Ruby wasn't in the car. Her little car seat was there in the back and she could so easily have been with me."

The model - who has since moved out of the area - continued: "Although I've been back to that part of London since and I did feel safe again, it has made me more cautious all round and more aware of the fact that things like this can happen, unexpectedly, wherever you are.

"Both Joe and I were in such shock at first, we didn't feel angry - that maybe comes later."
