Monk ready for "different direction"

Sophie Monk has revealed that she is ready to take a "different direction".

The Australian former popstar and wannabe actress, who currently lives in Los Angeles, said that she has had more career opportunities since she decided to dye her blonde hair brown and wear less revealing clothes.

Monk told The Daily Telegraph: "I changed my image. People used to dress me the way they wanted me to look. I am taking back control. I am ready to take a different direction."

Earlier this year, Monk said that she has found living in Hollywood "tough" because she is not as "successful" there as back home in Australia.
