Rod Stewart 'has no plans for more kids'

Rod Stewart has revealed that he and his wife Penny Lancaster have decided not to have any more children.

During an interview with PopEater, Stewart denied that he and his partner plan to have more kids after their eighth child is born.

He joked: "No, no it's all finished now. Closing up the office."

The 'Hot Legs' singer also revealed that he has recently grown close to the daughter that he gave up for adoption at a young age.

"It's a difficult subject because people draw their own conclusions and there's bound to be a bit of negativity about it. But I feel good I'm making the effort. You know her mother and father [who adopted her] passed away three years ago," he said.

"Up until then she's had a mother and father she adored so it wouldn't have been wise for me to, and I wouldn't have wanted to anyway, step in and appear out of the blue. It's good; we email each other now and then. We're working on it, let's put it that way."
