White's former Golden Girls co-star, who died of cancer last year, appears in an advert for PETA that criticises the slaughtering practices of McDonald's.
The ad features a picture of Arthur alongside the slogan: "McCruelty: It's enough to make Bea Arthur roll over in her grave."
Like White, Arthur was a life-long supporter of animal welfare charities and donated money to PETA in her will.
The biographical comic, Female Force: Betty White, is released in the US this month.
