The 'Shine A Light' singer admitted during an appearance on Paul O'Grady Live that his love of body ink hadn't prevented him from an embarrassing collapse at a tattoo parlour.
He said: "I fainted on one of my sessions of having a tattoo (sic). It was on the inside of my arm.
"I have kind of a full sleeve in the making. It's more annoying than really painful, it's just quite aggravating. It's just like being poked and it's like, 'Agh, stop!'"
Poynter previously revealed that ex-girlfriend Frankie Sandford used to laugh at his naked body, due in part to his sizable tattoo.
