Julia Roberts has managed to practically sell out her Broadway debut within just one day of the tickets being on sale.

The star will play two characters in the limited run of family mystery Three Days of Rain. Ticket websites have crashed as the play has already brought in nearly £4m from just one day's advanced sales. The only tickets left cost at least £140, with top pricing at £480.

The play, directed by Tony-award winner Richard Greenberg, will only run from March 28 to June 18.
