Naomi Watts: 'My kids love the outdoors'

Naomi Watts has professed that her children have "endless" energy when they are playing outdoors.

The Fair Game actress told USA Today that she and husband Liev Schreiber make sure that 3-year-old Sasha and 22-month-old Samuel spend a lot of time out in the open air in New York City.

"I know all the playgrounds very well," she said. "On the weekends, we tend to spend the whole day outside."

The Oscar-nominee further explained: "We ride bikes on the West Side Highway. We go up to the park. There's a little children's museum and we go there. We went to the carousel. We go to Chelsea Piers."

Watts also remarked that both of her young sons find visiting that movie sets that she and Schreiber work to be quite boring.

"When you're on the job, your kids come to the office, so to speak. They can hang out. It gets boring quick for them, but a lot of parents have regular work hours, and they're lucky if they get morning and bedtime with their children. We love what we do, but our kids are with us, always."

She concluded: "I love being a mum. I just love it. It's the most rewarding thing, but the most challenging thing."
