Valerie Bertinelli 'not rushing to marry'

Valerie Bertinelli has stated that she and fiancé Tom Vitale are not going to rush into marriage.

The star, who became engaged in March, told People that she and Vitale are taking a measured approach towards planning a wedding.

"One of these days we're going to get married, but we just had an amazing three weeks in Italy, and so now we're planning our second honeymoon for us to actually get married and go again," she said. "We're doing all the honeymoons first."

Betinelli also revealed that she is enjoying life much more now that she has shed some excess weight while acting as a spokesperson for diet company Jenny Craig.

She explained: "Life just feels easier… I know it sounds trite, but to a lot of us women it really does mean a lot when you start the day - you put a pair of jeans on and they don't make you feel like crap."
