Lindsay Lohan 'spends day with Michael'

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly spent the day with her father Michael while staying at the Betty Ford Clinic.

The 24-year-old, who is currently completing a court-ordered stint in rehab, spent the day with her estranged father, TMZ reports.

According to the website, Lindsay and Michael had an "extensive" conversation at the rehabilitation facility before heading to a nearby street market.

As part of the trip, the pair reportedly spent several hours in a high-end jewellery store, although it is unclear whether she purchased anything.

An insider said that Lindsay and Michael are now trying to take a "whole new approach" to their relationship, and hope to build on their initial contact.
